Plain-language notice

This page explains our current website and business practices. It should be read for the situation described and does not replace a signed wedding scope, supplier contract or advice from a qualified professional.

Detailed requirements

Terms and Conditions — operational guidance

These sections explain how the policy applies to real wedding-planning, website and business activities.

Section 01

Acceptance and website purpose

By using this website, you agree to these website terms. The site provides information about wedding-planning services, service areas, planning methods and indicative budget ranges. It is not a confirmed booking, supplier contract, guarantee of availability or promise that every displayed service is suitable for every venue, date, culture, guest profile or budget.

Section 02

Enquiries are not bookings

Submitting a form, adding services to the calculator, calling, messaging or receiving an initial response does not reserve a date, venue, supplier or artist. A booking exists only when the parties have agreed the written scope and commercial terms, required documents have been completed, and any stated advance or confirmation condition has been satisfied.

Section 03

Indicative calculator and pricing

Calculator figures are planning references based on categories, assumptions and market observations; they are not quotations. Actual pricing can change with date, city, season, venue, guest count, functions, quantities, design, artist availability, production specifications, travel, taxes and supplier terms. “Starting”, “recommended” and “upper” values do not create a fixed package or cap. Customer-entered budgets remain the customer’s planning inputs.

Section 04

Scope, exclusions and change control

The written proposal should identify deliverables, responsibilities, quantities, locations, dates, dependencies, client approvals, supplier responsibilities, exclusions and payment milestones. Work outside that scope may require a revised fee, supplier quote or timeline. Material changes should be confirmed through the agreed approval route. Delay in decisions, access, information or payment can affect availability and execution.

Section 05

Third-party suppliers

Venues, hotels, caterers, decorators, artists, transporters, photographers, production companies and other specialists provide services under their own commercial, safety, cancellation and privacy terms. Kontact Us may source, compare or coordinate them within an agreed scope but does not automatically become the manufacturer, carrier, venue operator or licensed specialist. Responsibility for a supplier charge and contract must be stated in writing.

Section 06

Client responsibilities

The client must provide accurate dates, venues, guest information, budgets, approvals and decision-maker details; review proposals and schedules; make payments when due; disclose relevant venue or cultural restrictions; and obtain permission before sharing another person’s data. The client should not instruct suppliers in a way that conflicts with the approved master plan without notifying the planner.

Section 07

Permissions, safety and lawful conduct

The event must comply with venue rules and applicable requirements concerning sound, alcohol, food, fire safety, structures, electrical systems, traffic, drones, performances, copyright and public permissions. Specialist advice or approval may be required. Neither a website page nor a planning discussion is evidence that a licence has been obtained. Unsafe, unlawful, abusive or discriminatory instructions may be refused or escalated.

Section 08

Weather, force majeure and disruption

Outdoor events, travel and live production may be affected by weather, transport interruption, government action, venue restrictions, illness, labour disruption, supplier failure or other events beyond reasonable control. Backup options, substitution rights, postponement, cancellation costs and insurance should be addressed in the project agreement. We do not promise that every disruption can be prevented.

Section 09

Cancellations, refunds and supplier commitments

Cancellation and refund rights depend on the signed proposal, payment stage, work already completed and non-recoverable supplier commitments. Advances paid to secure a venue, artist, room block, material, fabrication or travel may be subject to the supplier’s terms. The website does not create a universal refund rule.

Section 10

Intellectual property and portfolio material

Website text, branding, design and original planning material may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. Client-provided names, images and concepts remain subject to their owners’ rights. Publication of a wedding photograph, testimonial or case study requires the relevant permission; providing material for planning does not automatically authorise marketing use.

Section 11

Liability and reasonable limits

Nothing in these website terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, website information is provided for preliminary planning and should be verified in the written project scope. We are not responsible for decisions made solely from an indicative webpage, an unauthorised supplier statement or information the user supplied inaccurately. Project-specific liability terms, if any, belong in the signed agreement.

Section 12

Privacy, links and availability

Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy. External maps, messaging services, supplier sites and other links are provided for convenience and may have separate terms. We may correct, update, suspend or withdraw website content without preserving an outdated version, but changes do not rewrite an already signed agreement unless the parties agree.

Section 13

Governing framework and contact

These website terms are intended to operate under applicable laws of India. Any project-specific dispute process or jurisdiction stated in a signed agreement takes priority for that project. Questions about these terms may be raised through +91 98233 95060 before booking. If a translated or summarised explanation conflicts with the written English terms, the complete agreed document should be reviewed.
