Plain-language notice

This page explains our current website and business practices. It should be read for the situation described and does not replace a signed wedding scope, supplier contract or advice from a qualified professional.

Detailed requirements

Accessibility Statement — operational guidance

These sections explain how the policy applies to real wedding-planning, website and business activities.

Section 01

Commitment and target

Kontact Us - The Luxury Wedding Planner wants visitors with different visual, hearing, mobility, speech and cognitive needs to access core website information and enquiry routes. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the improvement target for new and updated content. This statement describes an ongoing programme and is not an unsupported claim that every page or third-party service is fully conformant.

Section 02

Navigation and structure

Pages are intended to provide one main heading, descriptive section headings, meaningful link text and a consistent header and footer. Keyboard users should be able to reach navigation, forms, expandable calculator categories and controls without requiring a mouse. Focus should remain visible and should not be obscured by sticky or floating interface elements.

Section 03

Text, colour and responsive layout

The design aims for readable text, sufficient contrast, scalable content and layouts that reflow on mobile screens without horizontal scrolling. Colour should not be the only way to communicate status. Users may zoom the page or use browser text settings, although very large zoom levels can change navigation and card layout.

Section 04

Images and media

Informative images should have alternative text that describes their planning purpose; decorative images should not create unnecessary repetition for screen-reader users. Generated or illustrative wedding images are not evidence of a completed client project. If video or audio is introduced, captions, transcripts or an appropriate alternative should be planned according to the content.

Section 05

Forms and error handling

Form controls should have visible labels, required fields should be identified in text and validation messages should be understandable. A status message should not depend only on colour. Visitors who cannot use the form may call or use WhatsApp through the published number. Never send passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive information through an accessibility-support message.

Section 06

Budget calculator accessibility

The calculator contains expandable service categories, checkboxes, quantity and budget inputs, priority selections and dynamic totals. Controls should have programmatic names, keyboard operation and status text. Live totals are supplementary; a user should be able to review selected services and the generated summary without interpreting colour alone. If a dynamic control creates difficulty, contact us for a human-assisted planning discussion.

Section 07

Compatibility and technology

The site is built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images and structured data and is intended for current mainstream browsers on desktop and mobile devices. Support can vary with older browsers, browser extensions, custom settings and assistive technology combinations. Core contact details and policy information should remain understandable even when optional JavaScript features are unavailable.

Section 08

Third-party limitations

Embedded maps, WhatsApp, external supplier pages, downloaded documents and other third-party services may not meet the same accessibility target and are outside our direct control. We can help identify an alternative contact or provide essential planning information in another reasonable format when feasible, but cannot alter a separate provider’s interface.

Section 09

Known limitations and assessment

Automated checks can find missing labels, contrast issues and structural errors but cannot verify every assistive-technology experience. Our process combines code checks, responsive browser review and manual inspection of important journeys. Complex calculator content, very large service catalogues and third-party embeds are areas that require continued attention. We welcome reports of specific barriers.

Section 10

Feedback and accommodation requests

To report a barrier, call or WhatsApp +91 98233 95060 and include the page, feature, device or assistive technology involved and the information or action you need. Do not include disability or medical details beyond what is necessary to arrange assistance. We aim to acknowledge practical accessibility requests and explain the available alternative, expected response or limitation.

Section 11

Event-service accessibility

Website accessibility does not automatically establish accessibility at a venue or event. Step-free routes, accessible toilets, seating, transport, room allocation, interpretation, captioning, dietary needs, quiet spaces and emergency arrangements must be confirmed against the actual venue and guest requirements. These items should be added to the written wedding scope with an owner and deadline.

Section 12

Updates

This statement is reviewed as the website and service tools change. Material improvements or known limitations may be reflected here with a new revision date. Feedback is used to prioritise barriers affecting enquiry, planning information and budget-tool completion.
